Not just food but cards, nick knacks and a small cafe. Right opposite the village green and across the road from The Star this really is a small village. Small villages and nice people seem to go hand in hand in this part of the world. Don't leave Thrussington without popping in.

Visited for the first time and found that the selection of items to order from the menu was good and they are also adaptable. Building works going on near the café and at the moment you have to use the loo at the lovely pub across the road. the food we had was nice but feel that when all the building works are completed the environment will be very much better. Selection of Hambleton bread was very nice. Not too impressed with the service at the table, when we had finished our sandwiches we were not asked if we wanted a cake etc, plates taken away without a word of how we liked it etc...? Will revisit in a few months time when works completed

My daughters and I love visiting the village store regularly. I have no complaints at all! The food is sourced locally and of excellent quality, the drinks are delightful, the homemade cakes are delicious, the deli selection is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly and lovely.
