The service was good, so 2 stars. We ordered the rapidly hardening sticky Toffee which was just NOT Good. There was barely enough sauce to cover it and well... Rapidly hardening really says it all. On to the chocolate chip cookie dough. This was sweet. That is the best I can say. The cookie on its own was not dreadful but the ice-cream for both dishes was abominable. McDonald's has better. The Sweet Life appears charming at first glance but ultimately fell short of expectations. I have visited on multiple occasions and each time experienced slow service, mediocre food quality, and slightly high prices.
I didn't get to try the food at this restaurant because the man working behind the counter couldn't answer my questions about the ingredients. This is very concerning in terms of food and allergen safety, so I chose not to eat there. However, my friends who did try the food seemed to enjoy it. The playlist on the TV was a nice addition, but some of the music was too repetitive for my liking.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The desserts were both beautiful and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable.
The service was incredibly quick and the dessert selection is extensive. The prices are very reasonable considering the generous portions.
