Sonny's Street Food - Charnwood

My daughter brought me to this restaurant based on recommendations about the food. I gave a 5-star rating for the delicious dishes, which were all amazing. The Thai food here is definitely authentic and made with love. However, the service was lacking, with poor attention to detail such as having to ask for the menu. Despite this, I would recommend trying this Thai restaurant if you are in Loughborough.

This restaurant in Loughborough serves the most authentic Thai food. As someone who lived in Thailand for 5 years, I can say that the massaman curry is the best I've had outside of Thailand. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. My only suggestion would be to slightly increase the portion size. Nonetheless, this restaurant is top-notch.

My friend took me to lunch today and I can't wait until I get back! we had a beginner and head, who were so generously portioned, I had to bring home (laughs me) many choices on the menu and beautiful staff.

My boyfriend I visited on a Saturday evening. We ordered a few starters and mains to share, all of the food was exceptional, the flavours were very authentic and it was all served hot and fresh. The Phad Thai was made gluten free...as per our request. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only downfall and reason why I didn’t give them stars is because we waited an hour for our food, and the starters and mains all came at the same time. We will definitely be back to try more from the menu. Hopefully we won’t have to wait as long for the food to arrive.

Had a retreat tonight and was not disappointed. eating is also great and very cheap! cant recommend sunnys enough one of the best places to eat in loughborough!
