What User doesn't like about Jades Tea Rooms:
Rather disappointed after reading the reviews. Having been doing the rounds on tea rooms was expecting this to be one of the better ones. Unfortunately have to say that the carrot cake was probably one of the poorest I've tasted. Very dry around the edges and not very appetizing at all. On the plus side coffee was good. I went here this morning after a walk with my dog. I sat outside when the dog was with me. the staff was nice and friendly and the coffee was so good, I had to have two. I had a delicious sausage sandwich that quickly got out. When I came back to the second coffee, I also had a crumbcake. it was nice, but so sweet, so I had to leave half of it. I'll be back soon. the coffee and the friendly staff are well worth it.
My own and my daughter came today to lunch and of course nelson the dachsund, it was my daughter today so, we decided to visit jades, we had the plowers lunch and it was delicious, and then a scene marmelade and cream, very nice. beautiful staff, opposite bradgate park beautiful location. we will come back.
Ordered a light bite for a Sunday afternoon afternoon, many nice options on the menu and was more than filling, two meal times two hot drinks less than £20! and errorless.
At the first visit today and we will return definately. beautiful teestube, with wonderful personal and beautiful eating. highly recommended!
