Visited here quite a few times but this time the service was by far the best by Clare who was very attentive and had a great sense a humour (I think it was anyway lol) After a horrible reception at The Willow we decided to stick to what we know and went hobby horse. It my Nana’s birthday and Clare made she we were looked after and had everything we need my Nana really enjoyed the afternoon there so thank you Clare t... View all feedback.
What Tracey W doesn't like about Hobby Horse:
Just had 2 take out meals. Both meals had ingredients missing and were stone cold. Description was 2 chicken breasts in each meal but were more like the size of 2 thighs, handful of chips and the pot of salad was just lettuce and onion. Not worth the money, View all feedback.
Upon arrival, a gentleman at the front could only offer us a table in 40 minutes. We declined and instead sat near the bar on the taller chairs. A lovely waitress named Claire walked by and offered us a table in her section. She was incredibly sweet and accommodating. I believe Claire's kindness and empathetic nature are a valuable asset to the Hobby Horse and Farm House Inns group. Thank you again, Claire, and please never change the empathetic service you provide to your customers xx.
Claire was a huge help when I accidentally spilled my drink - thanks for replacing it and assisting with the cleanup. You're a star! The Sunday dinner was delightful.
One of our worst food experiences, food cold , queue for food stopped … no sausage…. then no beans ….. then no eggs ….. disorganised chaos . The quality of the food is cheap and tasteless , grubby surroundings and DGAS attitude staff
Why is it that we tend to remember only the best, worst, and last moments of an experience, and forget all the rest? I believe that it all comes down to the power of people. So, a big thank you to Shelia for her exceptional service that went above and beyond, and to the gentleman at the carvery who served us with a fantastic attitude. They truly made our visit to Hobby Horse Farm memorable. Some say that we all have the ability to create meaningful moments that bring pride, joy, and connection, and that's exactly what we experienced this afternoon. Bravo!
We go to this restaurant every Sunday for the carvery and it is always brilliant. The staff are always friendly and efficient. For the last few weeks, we've had the lovely Leanne looking after us at our table. The chef carving the meat is always friendly, efficient and courteous no matter how busy or how long the queue is.
