This is the second time we’ve ordered here. Food has been fantastic each time and so flavourful. We’ve also had some freebies thrown in due to previous lateness which was appreciated. Can’t fault this place apart from the fact the delivery time is a bit long however I expect this is due to our location and not the restaurant itself. View all feedback.
What Jade Ralston doesn't like about Delhi Bites:
Food was amazing. Tried this place as I’ve walked past it a few times, though I’d give it a go. Food tastes fresh and the portions are smashing, these guys fully the boxes to the brim with grub. Also had a milkshakes, slapped. Will deffo be ordering food from here again, whether in this app or in person!! View all feedback.
I typically don't leave reviews, but after dining at this restaurant and ordering a Lamb Achari and Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi Delhi box, I must say that it was one of the best meals I've had for the price of £6.50. As someone who enjoys cooking British Indian Restaurant (BIR) food, I was impressed by the delicious flavors and innovative dishes created by the chef. I truly hope this restaurant finds success, as the quality of the food I just enjoyed certainly deserves recognition.
I have been ordering from Delhi Bites for the past 5 years, and in my opinion they serve the best curries in Loughborough, full of spices and flavour. Ever been to an Indian restaurant unsure of what curry to order? Chicken or lamb? vegetarian or meat? with rice or with naan? the range of Delhi box's served solves this. Two curries are neatly layered in a box, when you finish the first curry with pieces of fresh naan you're surprised with another delicious curry with rice, I think its genius ! Delhi box 5 and 9 are my favourites alongside some mini samosas. The staff are super friendly and increasingly generous. Its a great value for money and the deliveries are quick. Defo recommend.
The food was just okay in terms of taste. I was given the wrong dish and was charged an additional 2 pounds for the mistake. The service was lacking in quality. I am unable to provide further details on this public platform due to certain sensitivities.
The tandoori chicken is the to die for get one of the boxes either off the menu or create your own. The paneer bhuna is also really good, spicy level is decent but not blow your head off. Overall, for the price and the quantity, a great deal and the tandoor chicken. Is genuinely the best I 've had in ages. The samosa chaat is decent but make sure you eat it right away otherwise it won 't be crispy.
The meals here are disgusting , you order 2 meat dishes a nam bread and rice or chips , the staff manage to cram all this into a box which is no bigger than a pot noodle container , the nam is ripped up into little pieces and all the food just gets compressed into one big blob with the smallest pieces of meat they could cut . Over priced and messy takeaway , best eaten when drunk !!
