Subway - Charlottetown

Right in the middle of town, sitting on the Avenue, easy to get in and out and lots of parking. The food is great, the staff is great, a nice little spot to sit in and eat or you can have it packed to take out and take it with you down to Victoria Park and eat at the waterfront or in the park across the street. Everyone loves a good sandwich and they have really nice cookies too for dessert. Get a combo and you've got it all.

Get the lobster but double up the meat. Makes an awesome lobster roll, better than most.

I tried one of the new rice bowls at Subway and I wasn't sure what to expect. There are 4 options and I chose the chicken teriyaki. The rice was heated before being placed in the bowl, and it was topped with fresh vegetables and warm chicken and sauce. Although it was tasty and nicely presented, I was disappointed to find that the chicken was processed. Subway now offers subs with freshly sliced turkey and chicken, so it was disappointing to see processed meat in this dish. I will try the Steak version next time in hopes of better quality meat.
