The restaurant offers a mix of Lebanese and Canadian cuisine, with popular dishes like shawarma and fish and chips. While some diners were disappointed with aspects like bland flavors and frozen fries, others found the food fantastic and the service excellent. The atmosphere is described as intimate and the staff attentive. The chef even makes rounds to check on diners. We ordered appetizers, which were fabulous. We also ordered meals but never received them. We watched people come and go… Two hours later, still no meals so we asked for the check. To her credit, the waitress did immediately bring the check. However, there was no real apology-just an excuse that the kitchen was short-staffed and had to help Bubba with take-aways. If that was the case, why were people who arrived after we arrived served and finished before we finally gave up and asked for the check? This is likely a great restaurant (based on other reviews and our appetizers). However, we can’t commit to saying that without a main meal served. We won’t go back.

I was really looking forward to some good Lebanese food but this missed the mark. Shawarma nachos were good if a little heavy on the pickles. It was the large platter we ordered as our entree that was disappointing. The “generous portion of Kibbie” was 2. Half the plate was hummus and the other half was tabouleh, both of which were surprisingly bland and under seasoned. I brought the tabouleh home because it’s usually my favourite and I can re-dress it myself.
