Thoughts of a Charleston resident visiting, I liked the place a lot. The place was very inviting and vibrant energy for brunch. There?s plenty of soft lighting, the decor is fitting and the music is just high enough volume to keep the volume of other conversations out of mind. Really wanted to like the food more than I did. Saw a friend post the smothered chicken in a post and it made me hungry. Unfortunately, the food looked better than tasted/sounded. Awesome breakfast spot located in uptown Charlotte. Reservations are highly recommended. Delicious chicken and waffles, eggs, potatos, and bacon. Staff is very friendly and quick service. Unfortunately they only have a basic coffee blend cream sugar. Cute interior as well.

The food was very good, I had the sriracha chicken and waffles. The flavor was about right, portions were good sized, only critique I would give is both the chicken and waffles were soft. I?d prefer if the chicken was a little more seasoned and crunchy to introduce a different texture into the meal
1st time trying out. Loved the atmosphere. They also required reservations so we had to sit at the bar. Required masks but did not practice the 6 ft apart We ordered the shrimp and grits with soy sausage. It was delicious! We will return with reservations. Staff was great.
I ordered the regular Chicken and Waffles. The chicken does not seem to have any salt, something I read on other reviewers left. It was cooked well, just not much seasoning. The waffles were good; not anything special but not bad either. The staff was nice, and the restaurant was clean (although I ordered takeout). And it was moderately priced: 14.95 for a large tray of food. Nice atmosphere. Chicken was bland. Waffles was ok.
