Sushi Queen Sushi And Grill - Charlotte

I really wanted to give this restaurant five stars. I'm in town for a month and absolutely love sushi and hibachi, so I would have been a regular if the food and service had been better. Unfortunately, I just left feeling very disappointed. My sushi was just okay. I was starving and had to remove the cucumber from my roll because it tasted old and slimy. Once I took it out, the roll actually tasted good. I was really looking forward to the hibachi, but after placing my order, my server vanished. I didn’t see them again, which is why my hibachi arrived cold and lacked flavor. It was so frustrating to experience this, especially since I was really hungry. The lack of service and the cold food definitely diminished my experience. I noticed larger parties around me received much better service, which was disappointing. Oh well! I got my sushi fix, and I'll be on the lookout for a more attentive restaurant next time I crave sushi.

There are two menus: one for food and the other for beverages, which includes a wide variety of alcoholic options. I opted not to have a drink this time but did dive into the sushi offerings. Several Dragon rolls caught my attention, so I tried the Red Dragon, the Crab Dragon, and the Sexy Dragon, all of which were AMAZING! Each roll had its own unique flavor and style. I will definitely be returning soon, and I highly recommend you give it a try!

The sushi selection, especially the specialty rolls, was excellent and the restaurant was clean. However, the steak for the kids' hibachi was quite tough.

Been here four times in the past two years and never disappointed. Love this place if you want some bomb sushi that just melts in your mouth

Absolutely loved the decor in this restaurant . It was a Little slow at first for a Saturday but it quickly picked up . Sushi is fairly priced and it was delicious. Drinks are strong enough for one but definitely go for two !
