I enjoyed brunch at Ruby Sunshine Ballantyne, and the food was excellent. The staff was friendly and polite, though a bit slow in bringing us some items we needed. I understand that it's a busy Saturday, but waiting 10 minutes for our check and takeout containers after asking felt a bit excessive. Overall, I would recommend this spot for a brunch meal—everything was delicious! We finally visited Ruby Sunshine for brunch, and it truly surpassed our expectations! The food was incredibly tasty, and the service was outstanding. Although the shrimp and grits weren't the best I've ever had, they were still quite good. My wife ordered the benedict and thought it was absolutely fantastic. Emma provided friendly and efficient service, offering excellent recommendations. With its convenient location near our home, we're definitely planning to make this our regular brunch spot. Highly recommended! On our recent return, Jojo was exceptional!!! I previously visited Ruby Slipper in New Orleans and was eager to see if Ruby Sunshine Ballantyne could match that experience. I ordered the same dish I loved in NOLA, and it was just as delicious! I also enjoyed the Paloma cocktail. Although we had a reservation, we still had to wait around 20 to 30 minutes. We dined there last month on a Saturday for brunch around 11. Our waitress was fantastic, and I would definitely return! Meal Type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Sweet Heat Chicken French Toast Bites
