The food is not good, the street corn is watery and bland. I wish I read the reviews before visiting so that I would have just gotdrinks. They need to do better with the food that this place offers. It’s not cooked up to par, the shrimp tacos tasted liketomato sauce was poured over them and served. I definitely won’t be ordering food from here again. The food is over priced forthe quality to be trash.

I called Mal Pan after reading enough good reviews a... read more I work in the Raleigh are and needed to help my team host an intimate reception for investors we work with. I called Mal Pan after reading enough good reviews and was helped with setting up a menu, indoor set up for our group of about 30, and a staffready to help the night of. We only called two weeks prior to the event date, so to have them get this together that quickly wasreally amazing! On the day of our event the restaurant was set up beautifully. There was a buffet full of fantastic food, greataccompaniments for our tacos, and very generously poured, creative cocktails. We received a number of compliments on the food,space, etc. and we owe that to the restaurant owner Andre and the Mal Pan team. And for what it's worth all of us agreed thespace would be great for a date night some other time!

While the steak was fantastic, I wasn’t a fan of the fries mixed in with the burrito. The cucumber jalapeno margarita was quite refreshing because of the cucumber, but the jalapeno gave it a strong kick! It was delicious, though I made sure to have water on hand! Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and I look forward to returning to explore more items on the menu. There is a parking garage available, but just be mindful of the time limit.

Being from California, we’re thrilled to have discovered such delicious Mexican cuisine here in Charlotte.
