Was Steve at Desarno's a mag?
I recently tried the Beef Bean Burrito Bake at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. I am amazed at how they are able to serve such a tasty dish at such an affordable price. There's no way I could recreate it at home from scratch or prepare it as expertly as they do. View all feedback.
What Nicolette O'Keefe dislikes about Desarno's:
I don't mind spending more money on take out but it has to be good. The food was ok but not as good as what I make. I would expect professional chefs to exceed in their flavors. They're Italian entrees lacked flavor and authenticity. I grew up on Long Island, NY and know good Cooking. View all feedback.
I have been in charlotte for 13 years, had no idea that this place existed. also ordered the auberginen parmigiana and it was so good. had the huh piccata the next day and it was delicious. the prices are reasonable and the best part is warm and eat. I'll go back in any case. can not wait until next week a few meal times.
I learned from an Instagram gift about this place I won. covid19: I think they can order and pay online. I had to get my gift card, so I got my stuff out of there. I have noticed an increasing trend in which companies think that they don't have to wear masks if they are not in a range to which customers can come. they would put on a mask while they checked out, but the people in the back (which only a few feet further away through an open door) did not wear masks. now for dinner. they provide prefabricated meal times that are frozen and ready to go for them. it is mostly Italian. they also have some pages that are fresh and must be eaten within a week. everything is packed with warmer management. they have meal times that come with a duck, nasalat and brot for $20. the escape changes daily. I have one of them with chicken sauce, artichoke salad and foccacia. I also have a small chicken rustic, single served dishes, filled mushrooms and arancini. most dinge were very good. the sides (except mushroom and argancini) were our favourites. they were so tasteful. I really liked the huh rostica court. the sauce was delicious. Unfortunately, that was very dry and not good. to the happiness there was not much of it. the artichoke salad and the foccacia were both pretty good. the filled dishes were perhaps our favorite pata court. they were so cheesy and delicious. I wish they had more marinara, but they didn't need it. the chicken sauce was not good. the hunch here was also very dry and tasteless. the court as a whole had no taste. it seemed like they forgot to wear the sose. overall, this is a good option for simple meal times. I am not sure how often we will be back because we do not really eat many carbs on a regular basis, but if they love Italian, it is worth checking them.
My son and his wife were bringing home their new baby and I wanted them to have a warm, comforting dinner ready for them. I was staying at an AirBnb and didn't have access to a kitchen. I found DeSarnos on Yelp and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered them the family meal deal it was large, it probably could have fed the tired couple and all four grandparents, but I wanted them to have leftovers. It was around $60, not bad to feed 6 I ordered the lasagna and got the mozzarella and salami salad and garlic green beans. It also came with a tossed salad and small loaf of focaccia. The happy couple absolutely loved it! Each of them told me three times how good it was. They were excited to have leftovers. While DeSarnos doesn't have a gigantic menu, there are definitely enough choices to satisfy everyone. Most of the meals are frozen you pick them up from the large freezers along the wall. The instructions say to defrost I wonder if you can cook from frozen, I'd have to ask. The salads are fresh in a deli case by the register. There are several dessert options that looked awesome. DeSarnos isn't very far from the kid's home. I hope they take advantage of it and give themselves a much deserved break from cooking.
