I almost missed them because they appeared as “tavern” and not “pizza” when I was looking for pizza places in charlotte. the pizza was really good. they are one of these hometown pizza places that has been in the community for several decades and it is easy to see why. that's a good pizza. the pizza can be very good. many other foods can be good even if not so good after changing menus. the biggest problem I had lately is the service with which everyone has difficulty so that I can't fully blame the establishment. many companies need to take what they can get. View all feedback.

I don't know what's going on here but Dan come on get that kitchen in order, never be this disappointed in the food.Hope you check these posts.

Edited to respond to owner's comments: we DID call ahead, your staff was aware a large party was coming and a party of 11 shouldn't be that much different than 2 tables of 5-6, especially on Friday night. When the food is brought out in shifts, there's no reason for it to be lukewarm, hot food would've made a significant difference......Food was ok, service was abysmal. Party of 11 took over 90 minutes to order and receive our food. Food was brought out at multiple times and was still lukewarm. No refills offered on drinks. Very disappointing experience.
