We enjoyed an excellent dinner here, choosing in fact from the cheapest menu at 24 euros. It was a very high standard of food and the flavour combination were delicious. What Richard Verdier doesn't like about Relais de l'Abbaye:
This restaurant is a curious one. Always packed full on a Sunday, but with a certain mature age group. It is old fashioned, butter and cream laden French cuisine. Small portions (thankfully). Staff know their menus, but well ambiance and view, I wouldn't really recommend....There is however, a FAR better, but much pricier alternative nearby called the Moulin de Rongefer where you have Michelin quality food and a love... Friends who have come several times have made us discover this restaurant and have been pleasantly surprised. It's about gastronomic cuisine. dishes are very well presented and excellent dishes with a good price value. The staff is nice and smiling. We spent a very good time in a clear and spacious room with country and garden views. a large parking is available. we highly recommend this establishment and we will return to it.
Perfect and fast service. cooking the perfect meat and fish. a wonderful dessert to finish made by an excellent pastry.a report because quite unusual dessert was not sweet, which made it much better to highlight the taste of citrus fruit. do not hesitate
