If you're wanting Japanese but don't want to drop Kansai price, then this is the place to go. Their prices are great. The food is decent. I like the dipping sauces they include with the order. The sushi tasted like it was a few days old. Which was a bit disappointing. Kroger has better sushi which is saying something. Their service is fast though which is nice. They give you large portions so I make 2 meals out of it... View all feedback.
What William James doesn't like about Yamato:
Thought they said dine-in was open we set for 10 or 15 minutes nobody came to table had to go back up to counter could not make order because person behind counter could not speak any English or understand in English left and went to Taco Bell View all feedback.
Food is always fresh and tasty! Prices are very reasonable.
We called ahead to make sure dining room was open.we entered and no one would greet us.we decided to seat ourselves and sat there about 5 minutes. Finally after I acknowledge she was behind the plastic ,she started yelling, telling us we had to come to counter and get menus and then come back up to counter to order.we decided to leave and go to kansai,we will not be returning the yamato.

Terrible service and food was overpriced. The younger lady behind the counter was incredibly rude, rushes your order and has a terrible attitude. Service was not worth the quality of food. Would not recommend.
Great food at great prices! Staff was courteous and professional. Great dining experience!
