We really love Muse. My husband and I often visit Charleston and try to stop here when in town. We went on Saturday 1/21/17 and sat at the bar. Donnie is an amazing bartender and laughed at us. He's very attentive. We met Beth, the owner and she was very welcoming and really seemed to everything. We had the hummus plate and I drank the Malbec they had on the menu. We were extremely disappointed in our dining experience at MUSE. We chose this restaurant for my birthday. The “patio” was dirty, unattractive and dark. The chairs were uncomfortable. Had specifically requested a certain server because of his excellent reviews. However, he was disheveled, too busy and not particularly pleasant. I was here for a baby shower a special event that was scheduled when the restaurant was closed. But I have to say that the party appetizers were fabulous, and the place was very cozy inside small but cozy and intimate.
First time in Charleston. Reviews looked good so I came with a group of 11. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. I genuinely think you could go to the aquarium and ask for the same food the animals eat there and it would be better than what you’re given here. Steaks incredibly poorly cooked. Muscles appetizer lacking dimension in flavor. Bruschetta bread literally stale. All pasta sauces lacking any level of depth. Staff was super nice though.
Everything about this place was amazing. The food, the service, the drinks. We had a large party and we all agreed it was our best meal in town. Good variety. Thank you to the Muse Team!
My mom and I went here for a baby shower. Very small venue. Nicely decorated.
Donnie created an incredibly fun experience for our friends while we celebrated our friend’s 24th birthday! The food and staff were the absolute best. I would highly recommend visiting for dinner if out with friends, and definitely get the fettuccine carbonara.
