Description

Tucked on Daniel Island near the Charleston Open, this cozy brunch spot charms with warm service, standout omelettes and housemade biscuits, and a pleasant patio—yet experiences are mixed. Diners praise the chef-driven menu and attentive staff, but cite inconsistent quality, slow kitchen/pickup times, skimpy portions (notably BLTs), limited buffet selections, and steep prices. Ideal for casual brunches and special mornings, it’s worth trying signature egg dishes while expecting a hit-or-miss visit.

Wonderful staff, very accommodating on a busy holiday when we did not have a reservation. The iced coffee, avocado toast, and juevos rancheros were delicious and big portions!

Very unsure why this place had such great reviews especially when we dined here. I won't speak for everybody but I know everybody almost took two bites out of their food... We piled up most the food to send home to the dog. I did get an avocado BLT with some kind of tomato jam or mayonnaise It was awful it was making the bread soggy.... Literally had maybe two pieces of bacon on my whole sandwich. After the two bites I took we took the whole sandwich apart and was astonished about the level of bacon and the $17 sandwich that's supposedly called a BLT. The avocado was still round they didn't even slice it up It was a very awkward sandwich to try to eat like they served it. The manager noticed something was up with us We didn't complain we didn't want to send back three plates of food. Just saying won't be back. I do have to say our server was excellent and kept on top of us the whole time except for about the last 10 minutes when we had empty drinks and we're ready to tab out. No big deal We weren't in a rush but we would at least like to have drinks in front of us even if it was a water.

I was greeted immediately twice when I came in. I think some restaurants don't realize how much this matters. The service was super fast. I was given water and they took my drink order super fast. The food came so fast it surprised me, both times I came in. The food was absolutely delicious and I couldn't recommend it more. Well exceeded my expectations both times. If I am back in Charleston, I will be back.

The food and service was wonderful. I had the avocado toast and my husband had the breakfast burrito. The avocado toast came with 2 large pieces of sourdough, arugula, hard boiled egg, balsamic, and just the right amount of sea salt and also came with a side. I had the grits with cheese and didn’t have to doctor them at all. My husband’s burrito came with a homemade salsa that had a beautiful rich color and chunks of tomatoes. Our server was so attentive and helpful. In from out of town but will recommend and will be back again.
