I enjoyed my meal so much that I ate at this restaurant two days in a row. I tried the ginger pork, Thai jumping, Vietnamese spring rolls, egg rolls, and chicken pillow Thai. The people I was with also ordered pancit noodles, bok choy stir fry, and adobo huh. All of the dishes were exceptional and some of the best food I have had since moving to Charleston. The reviews were great so we decided to give this restaurant a try. We ordered sushi and pancit. The sushi was plentiful but just okay. It needed a dipping sauce to add some flavor. The pancit, a Filipino dish, was extremely spicy. The chef had added red chili pepper that made it inedible. When I asked about the spice level, I was told that's how it's always made. We used to go as often as we could when they were behind the mall and always enjoyed their food. I especially enjoy their spring roll, the clear one. Well they moved to Summerville and we finally found them. The food is still very good, the service is good but the atmosphere is better I just wish they were still close to us. But it is worth the drive. There is nothing we have had at this restaurant that wasn’t good. And so much to choose from. We usually get their daily special. We would recommend this place especially if you like Thai food!!!
One of the best dining experiences of my life! No exaggeration! My parents are regulars and I finally got a chance to go with them! Food was amazing. Best lumpia I have ever had. Crab Rangoon was on point! Rose, our server, incredible! Very concsiencious of our needs. So sweet! And the atmosphere and vibe...so relaxing! I can't wait to go back. So much on the menu that I was dying to try. Such a hidden gem! I would definitely recommend Mei Thai. This is a do NOT miss! And don't forget to ask for Rose!
Great variety, fresh food, clean and bright dining area
I have only had sushi here so far, but both times it was presented in a very bright, appetizing manner. Like the sushi chef is very proud of what he made. I have been to places where it's just plopped on the plate or in the box. Not with Mei Thai. Even the take out sushi liked amazing!
