Magic Wok - Charleston

I absolutely adore this restaurant! My boyfriend and I dine here nearly every week. The staff is incredibly polite and friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderfully tranquil.

I’ve tried Chinese food at many buffets, and this one was the worst I've experienced. The selection on the buffet was quite limited for the price, and, personally, I didn’t find the taste enjoyable. I've had much better meals at other places. If I’m in the area again, would I return? Probably not, unless there are significant improvements.

There were no beautiful pictures, just a hand-drawn one. The food, when it was hot, was probably excellent, but we arrived at an unusual time and the place was almost empty, with not much happening in the 35 minutes we spent there. The staff were really nice, though.

The food was excellent and only $12.88! The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this place! They also have gospel tracts available, which is a nice touch.

My pickup order was prepared quickly and the food looked impressive. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction from the very first bite. I suspect they use some kind of peanut sauce or fish oil in their cooking. If you have allergies, I would advise exercising caution when dining here.
