Bojangles - Charleston
Bojangles
Description
A recent visit to Bojangles on James Island left many customers disappointed and frustrated. Long wait times in the drive-thru, cold food, and poor customer service were common complaints. Some even went as far as to say it was the worst restaurant in Charleston. Lack of management and unprofessional behavior by employees were also noted. However, there were a few positive experiences shared by some customers who praised the quick service and friendly staff. Overall, it seems that the quality of service at this particular Bojangles location varies greatly, with some feeling it needs new management to improve.

The food was pretty good. Average Bojangles food. But don’t bother ordering curbside. They’re not going to bring it to you. And then when you go in the store you’re greeted with a bad attitude and have they’ve left your food on the counter to get cold. Very poor service
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I never write reviews but this place is the absolute worst. I am a DoorDash Driver and I have flat out stopped accepting orders from this place. You will spend 30 minutes in the drive thru line with 2 other cars and the customer service is HORRENDOUS. Slow, rude, and just dirty. You’ll finally pull up to the window and all of the employees are either sitting on their phone or flat out ignoring customers. I don’t know who manages this place, but they’re doing a terrible job. Go to literally any other fast food place on James Island.
Zero stars if possible… wanted .25 for bbq sauce after getting chicken. After running my card three times and paying zero attention. There were obvious undertones of pure stupidity with the manager and her staff. Would not recommend.
The morning manager was one of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered. When I walked in to place my takeout order, I asked him a few questions about the hurricane that affected Charleston. Before I knew it, we were chatting like old friends. Whatever Bojangles is paying him, it’s certainly not enough!
I was informed just an hour before closing that only the supreme option was available for the night. They also didn't have any sweet tea, and the staff seemed unsure about which sides were available. To make matters worse, I noticed the staff sitting in the dining area instead of attending to customers. The person on the phone was quite rude and kept interrupting me while I was trying to place my order. I've never written a review before, regardless of how disappointing the experience was, but this situation was truly on another level.
