1010 Bridge was nothing short of phenomenal. I had one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. I highly recommend making a reservation if you're looking for a great night out! Here's what we ordered: the charcuterie board, eggs with bacon (pork belly and quail egg), two strawberry salads, cream of mushroom soup, pork bolognese, the kitchen's special tempura cod, a side of lobster mac and cheese, silk chocolate cake, deep-roasted banana bread pudding, one bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, one dessert wine, and three sweet teas. Everything was absolutely delightful!.
What Kaela Kessler doesn't like about 1010 Bridge:
I wasn't impressed by the hype surrounding this place. The salmon was only two small pieces and came out a bit dry. The pork belly, on the other hand, was quite good. The restaurant was also crowded and noisy. View all feedback.
We had an amazing date night. The service is fantastic, we sat at the bar where Dereck and Josiah did an amazing job taking care of us. It was a very busy night and considering how many mixed drinks they were making for everyone I believe they deserve a shout out for how great they were. The food was fantastic, my husband and I both got the cast iron seared with lobster macaroni. Both our steaks were cooked to perfection. We also got the crispy fried Nashville oysters for an appetizer which was really yummy and not too filling before the meal. I had the chocolate orange martini to start with and my husband had the 1010 scout- we both really enjoyed our summer mixed drinks. With our meal we had a bottle of their red blend and it was so great. So great food, great service, great drinks and a great wine list. I would highly recommend making a reservation, we had a reservation and had to make it at the bar since their table reservations were full.
A 3 in most cities but a 4 for Charleston, WV. We spent the night in Charleston and it is surprising how lacking nice places to eat are in the states largest city. Service. The service was absolutely fantastic. We sat at the bar and the attention to detail was great. Vibe. The vibe was great. The bar vibe is fantastic. Drinks. A large draft beer and cocktail list. Food. The food was hit or miss. The portions were a good size with the exception of the beet and fried goat cheese salad. Onion soup was awesome. Salad was small but great. The bolognese was large in size but basically all short rib with minimal flavor. The charcuterie board gets a 2 star. If it wasn't for the pickled vegetables it would get a 1 star bad cheese selection and meats straight from the deli counter. Desserts were on point. All in all I would give it another shot if I were spending the night. You should give it a shot as well.
Wonderful atmosphere. Great food. Fantastic staff. Loved every second of my visit. Go, eat, drink, enjoy!
We ate at the bar and had great service. professional, polished and relaxed. I had the termine in speck and sea scallops packed my wife had the zucchini chips and bark short ribbolognese. we are from manhattan and that was the best meal we have for years. simply with professionally stratified aromen. Congratulations!
I don't even know what to say about this experience except... WOW! We had the pleasure of sampling many of the dishes and they were all spectacular. The service was phenomenal and the atmosphere is a simple yet elegant approach to modern fine dining. I might come back to Charleston, WV just to eat here again (and again, and again).
