Magpie's Cafe - Charles

Magpie's Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in St Charles on Main Street. The food is very authentic and different. All of their food feels homemade as if your grandmother made the food for you 15 minutes before it's served to you. Its fresh, bright and delicious. Everything was excellent on the menu and their specials were also wonderful.

Food is fresh, amazing staff, friendly and beautiful patio with a beautiful ambience all around. Can’t wait to come back here for more of the honey chicken sandwich!

I did not know Quiche could be this good! Great outdoor seating. Great service.

French bread was undercooked and dense. Roast beef stringy and inedible. Potato soup quite good. Indoors small and cramped without the expected charm, tho patio is lovely.

I visited here with my aunt a few weeks ago and the food was all delicious! We got the cheese bread, potato soup, pepperoni pizza, Turkey sandwich, strawberry crepes ? and the coconut cream pie!! ?Our waitress and the nice hostess were super nice and friendly! ?Parking: It’s on Main Street so there’s street parking for most places. Parking lots are down by the river front and the boat house
