Ruby Tuesday - Charles Town
Ruby Tuesday
Description
A hometown-feel casual restaurant in Harper's Ferry/Charles Town serves solid steaks, ribs, burgers and a popular salad bar, buoyed by warm, attentive servers and standout bartenders. Guests praise friendly service and reliable favorites, but experiences are uneven: frozen or cold sides, occasional undercooked chicken, and cleanliness lapses undermine value. Specials can impress, yet inconsistent food temperature and spotty management oversight suggest checking orders and food before dining. Best for families, regulars and casual nights out when service is strong.

**Ambiance:** 3/5 It's a typical American-style restaurant—nothing fancy, and it was pretty empty. **Food:** I ordered the New York strip for $23.99, and I was really disappointed. The texture of the meat was terrible, the seasoning was basic, and I hardly got any mushrooms, despite paying extra for them. Instead, I was served zucchini that I didn't order, and both the mushrooms and zucchini were burnt. The salad bar was okay, but it didn't look very fresh; it's probably the best part of the meal, though that's not saying much! Overall, I definitely won't be coming back.
This place was extremely unclean, with food on the floor and dirty tables. The food was unappetizing and dry—honestly, I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. When we brought our concerns to the server, they admitted that things were getting really bad. We were told that management was not present. I would strongly advise against eating here!
The staff was friendly, the salad bar was fresh, and the food was delicious, all at a great price. I enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance as well.
Worst experience I have ever had at a Ruby Tuesdays, Food was cold, waiter was Horrible Manager was no better.
