I ate dinner with my husband, son and daughter in the law. I generally enjoy eating shrimp on Saturday and dinner meals are higher price. Tonight the shrimp was a disappointment. It seemed like it was frozen after steaming. It had a slim texture. The warm shrimps were terrible. When I tried to find another selection, such as Brisket, it was so rare that I decided I was ready with my dinner. I've never been disappointed with dinner at the Epic, but tonight was nothing to flee. I notice that some chefs are better than others. The desserts were nothing to say. Come on Epic, you need to note what is served and how it is cooked. Some of the plates were also dirty. I hope this is an isolated incident.
For Sunday brunch. They had an enormous selection of breakfast items from pancakes, unlike cooked to order Omelettes, sausage; Speck, potatoes. They also had a wide selection of lunch/dinner meat, including prime rib, land ham, meat leaflets, pork shed, deep fried chicken, even some very good pizza. Usually I don't have a salad bar at the buffet. They had one, although I can't comment on his quality. They had an excellent dessert bar. Each guest also had two Mimosas with the purchase. The service was also excellent. The only thing that the rating holds to 4 instead of 5 was that it was somewhat overpriced compared to comparable experiences.
About $26 per person before tip and taxes. Many decisions and made fresh behind the buffet to see it like that. Drinks not included. Do not have any sugar supplement desserts for diabetics, although no great choice. Nice break from the noise at the casino. Crab Legs Add-on Cost is for two clusters not everything you can eat.
On a whine we drove to the race track to see how it was. Since we arrived early, we went to the Epic Buffet. They had a completely du-can-eat Alaskan King Crab Leg Special. We became a very nicely prepared table-white table cloth, cloth napkins, all the small table ornaments--beautiful. Our waitress was very friendly and it just got better from there. The Alaskan Crab Legs with butter were the best I had so far. Who would have thought? I was so full and happy that I skipped on the many Dessert options. I'll be back soon.
