I have eaten at La Demi-Lune several times and have never been disappointed. The cuisine is delicious, sophisticated and generous. The surprise menu is an excellent way to discover the menu, at a more than fair price. The icing on the cake: the magnificent view of the lake from the terraces. Nice setting and very beautiful view of Vevey and the lake. Reception, however, a little abrupt. Arriving at 12:30 for a drink, we were made to understand that customers who were eating had priority and that we would have to be patient. We popped in here on spec whilst wandering around Chambery and Mont Pelerin. Gorgeous restaurant, wonderful views from the balcony and the staff were lovely. The food was outstanding, and my husband said the cheesecake was the best he's ever eaten! Beautiful salad, ice tea and sorbet also were hits. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent food and decent portions. Must have for everyone who loves a fresh ingredients and delicious compositions. I tried many others around and this is the best restaurant in the region for sure. Highly recommended.
Just for an aperitif. Thursday late afternoon. 7was closed for a wedding. But the Manager Philippe received us well with a nice smile. And it should be like that in every place we stop. We had excellent butter flutes, well done. It was a pleasure. And it makes you want to come back. thanks a lot
