They have fantastic vegan options! Amy's frozen vegan pizza is incredible. Their vegan cookies and donuts are also delicious. It's my favorite place ever! I love the atmosphere, and they have a great selection of organic products. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Whole Foods Market:
They offer an excellent selection of vegetarian and vegan options, though I find the prices for their vegetarian and vegan proteins a bit steep compared to other brands I usually buy. My favorite dish is the vegan crab cake; it’s delicious whether served hot or cold, and it's quite affordable compared to some of their other offerings. I also highly recommend the vegan almond cookie, just make sure to get one that's f... View all feedback.
I loved this place and I really hope to love it again. but in recent years, while the rest of the world seems vegan friendly, the chapel hill whole foods has become less and less. which makes me hardly sense, because so many other foods are incredibly vegan friendly. they have removed so much from salat and the hot bar that was vegan. now there are no vegan breakfast options on all left no veggie meat, no tofu scramble, nothing. the standby oatmeal is still there, I guess. they have even drawn many vegan popular items from the regals that they can find in regular food stores. they even dropped the quite regular vegan baked food options. I'm not sure why, but it's such a bummer. I would like to change this assessment sometime.
Always has delicious vegan options in the hot bar, salad bar and deli. On work days, I can run by and get a quick healthy lunch. At the hot bar, there are always at least 3 vegan protein options, sometimes more (other local WF sometimes have zero options so this is a huge plus). They use local produce and have their own GF bakery. I have eaten here since it was Wellspring back in the 70's and even through all the expansions have found it a warm, inviting and healthy place to take a pause.
Whole Foods has great vegan options, and they are even good for omnivores seeking meat raised slightly more ethically. The CEO is a vegan, so I'm confident in his commitment to provide great vegan food and to animal welfare a priority (as much as it can be for a place that sells animal products). Their hot/salad bar is great, and their prepared foods have lots of vegan options. This, along with Weaver Street Co-op and Trader Joes, completes an amazing trifecta of vegan-friendly grocery shopping!
I really love this store. Food is always fresh especially the produce. I love the fact that I can get food from the meat department on display. The other day I picked up some hot wings I brought them home put n the air fryer for ten minutes on chicken setting and they turned out good. I have always loved Whole Foods. I get my milk from there the “calia farms” vanilla flavor it’s the only milk that doesn’t upset my stomach thanks Whole Foods. You will not go wrong with this store for organic foods so many choices.
Had a great lunch date with friends Sunday. Saturday, I utilized this Whole Foods Market, to return some items to Amazon. That's right; you can pickup and return items to Amazon. Whole Foods Market offers many different services: deli, imported food items, bakery, meats, seafood, vegan and vegetarian food. And great Service.
