Feedback
I really enjoy the food, and the location is very convenient. I'm also quite impressed that the manager has replied to every piece of feedback here—very attentive! I usually prefer takeout because the last couple of times I've dined in, the service has been a bit slow. I'm generally patient, but on my last visit, my group was the only table seated, and it took a long time for our drinks to arrive. It wasn't inconvenient enough to deter me from returning, though.
While Raaga is pricier than other Indian restaurants in the area, I genuinely believe that you get what you pay for. We visited for lunch on a Friday and took full advantage of their express lunch menu, which includes an appetizer, main entrée, side dish, rice, naan, and dessert. My husband and I chose different items to share, creating a delightful little buffet experience. The flavors are outstanding, and the food is cooked to perfection. With each visit, I find myself preferring Raaga for Indian food over any other place. Although it might not be the absolute best Indian cuisine I've ever tried, the inviting atmosphere, excellent service, and flavorful dishes keep me returning. Having sampled several items from their menu, I feel it's time to raise my rating.
Without a doubt, this is the best Indian restaurant we've discovered in the Triangle NC area. We've been here twice, and both times the food and service were outstanding. We managed to get a table without any wait, even during what we thought would be a busy time. I believe this is because while many Indian immigrants have discovered Raaga, it seems that many locals haven't yet caught on.
The lunch buffet is quite good for $12.90 (as of Winter 2017). The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The naan is exceptional, and I’ve consistently experienced great service.
My family and I hosted my brother and his fiancée's engagement dinner at Raaga on New Year's Eve over the weekend. Over the past few weeks, I worked closely with the owner, Hemini Patel, to select a menu and finalize the details for the evening. She was wonderful to collaborate with and genuinely invested in ensuring we had the best possible experience! We were incredibly impressed with everything—from the quality and flavor of the food to the decor and the customer service we received. Despite the holiday weekend keeping them very busy, they managed to accommodate all the needs of our large group seamlessly. I never had to ask the servers for water or inquire about our ordered dishes, as everything was served promptly and efficiently! My family and I are absolutely thrilled with our experience at Raaga and will definitely return again and again!
