Papa Johns Pizza - Chapel Hill

Ordered 2 1/2 hours ahead of time to make sure that the pizzas would arrive when we needed them. As I write this review, the delivery is 1 hour and 5 minutes late. I was on hold for 39 minutes, trying to cancel my order, before someone hung up on me. I still have received no email about the delivery delay. My children are hungry and I now have to scramble for dinner before bedtime.Oh, and the last time I ordered from this location, the pizza was cold (the driver apologized). I thought it was a one-off mistake. This place clearly needs help. I will never order from it again.

Order at 10:30 o'clock. order specified estimated delivery to 11:28. how the time passed by the app would say a later delivery time. tried to find the place for ten minutes straight and no answer. from 11:55 clock I could find the door dash driver number and texted about my order. I have five minutes later an answer that they have zero service, which is a lie because there is always service here and my eating was in front of the door. after receiving the text I received a communication about the order. my food was cold and my children slept before they could eat. so unprofessional and I will call today.

They charged us over 5 times. Never delivered our food and then wouldn’t pick up the phone at all when called. Worst place ever don’t buy from here.

It seems like any order placed after 7:00 p.m. consistently arrives late, cold, and is often not delivered by an actual delivery driver working for papa johns, but a Doordash affiliate. I'm tired of placing an order (in this case at 8:25 p.m. and having it arrive over an hour later (at 9:45 p.m. . I think the lesson is never order delivery from this location after 7:00 p.m.Edit: it is also worth mentioning that our order included jalapeno poppers which were received underbaked and doughy in the middle.. we had to finish baking them in our own oven before we could consume them.
