Hibachi Poke - Chapel Hill

This restaurant is just okay. The atmosphere wasn't very inviting. The bowl I ordered had fresh fish, but it was overwhelmed by too much twirl and was garnished with cilantro stems rather than chopped cilantro. I might consider returning to give it another chance if I hadn't just been passing through.

If you're not concerned about a fancy atmosphere or impeccable English, but are in search of delicious poke made with super fresh ingredients, I highly recommend trying this place. I ordered two bowls, and they were expertly prepared. The ahi was more like a tartare than the traditional cubes typically found in poke, but it was still incredibly tasty! The service was impressively quick. I'll definitely be returning!

The service was disappointing. I ordered hibachi and requested a cup of hot sauce. Instead of a proper serving, the waiter just dumped the remainder of the bottle into my cup. When I asked for more, I even offered to pay for it, but he claimed they were out. To my surprise, just three minutes later, he returned with an unopened bottle from the refrigerator. Additionally, they provided cheap plastic forks, which didn't enhance the experience.

The guy workin the counter was nice and the food was fresh and good. I got the hibachi chicken and it was awesome! A rude woman left the restaurant w/o her food and rather than let her order go to waste the guy at the counter offered it to us.

Stop for a quick lunch today and was extremely impressed with how fresh and delicious my poke bowl was! Great find that I will definitely be returning to.
