City Kitchen - Chapel Hill

This was truly the best experience we could have hoped for while planning our wedding. I must also mention that there has never been, nor will there ever be, a wedding with better food than ours. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection—so tender—and the pimento cheese grits were a huge hit. Our mini dessert spread was amazing as well. The staff even went above and beyond to decorate for us, making the venue more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and everything they did for us on our special day. Having a wedding at a restaurant is a bit unconventional, but it turned out to be the best decision we made! Thank you, City Kitchen!!!

This restaurant is an excellent option for families or a romantic evening out! The calamari, scallops, and fried oysters make for some delicious appetizers. For salads, the pear and candied pecan option, as well as the beet and goat cheese, are fantastic choices. The sushi here is far superior to that at Red Bowl, and Kim is a talented sushi chef!

A must-visit! The food was incredible, the atmosphere lovely, and the service outstanding. We enjoyed a fantastic anniversary dinner. We began with the spinach dip, which was a great start. The catch of the day was delightful, and we highly recommend the chicken drenched in sauce accompanied by fried artichokes. For dessert, we savored the delicious apple crisp à la mode and the braised pear. Our waiter, Mitchell, elevated our experience with his warm hospitality and attentiveness. We will definitely return!

My family and I enjoyed an amazing Easter brunch! The food was delicious and there was enough variety that everyone in out party of 9 found something they loved. Incredible service by the waitstaff. I will certainly be returning to celebrate future holidays and events.

I'm a regular at City Kitchen. I love the food and really love the staff. The decor is fab (and interesting) and the CK Sushi roll is to DIE FOR!
