We ha... read more Our visit to Carolina 1663 was quite interesting. It was our first time visiting this particular establishment, as it has had different names in the past. We had made a reservation here because all the other restaurants were fully booked due to college graduations and Mother's Day. When we arrived around 5:30 pm, we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Most of the tables were set up for groups, possibly because it is located in the Sheraton Hotel. Despite being the only customers, we were initially seated at a table near the kitchen doors. After requesting to move, we were told that the other tables were reserved. We then asked to be seated in the bar area, where we were the only customers aside from one person who left shortly after. Our bartender also served as our waiter and did a great job. The food, although a bit pricey, was surprisingly delicious. We enjoyed our quiet meal in our own space. While we're not sure if this experience will be the norm, we anticipate that the restaurant won't be crowded and the food will be satisfactory.

The variety and quality of the breakfast buffet were excellent, and the service was attentive. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The chicken was... read more Don’t expect anything beyond expensive dishes when you visit this restaurant. I tried the fried chicken, which arrived with a thin, gray gravy. The chicken was overcooked, the gravy was flavorless and watery, the garlic mashed potatoes were served cold, but the mac and cheese was quite good. The service was pleasant, though the place could benefit from a makeover.
