Capp's has the best Italian food I have had since I moved here. Their pizza is better than Roberta's in Brooklyn which was rated #3 in the country. Capp's has the same ovens. Everything is made from scratch including the pasta, bread, sausage, everything. If you like spicy, the Arrabiata is great, as well as the Chicken Picatta. Current business practices are not customer friendly. This type of pizza is meant to be enjoyed immediately but they still haven't opened dining room, have a cc fee, only open 4 hours if at all and always asking for a tip for staff that they've yet to rehire. I tried the pizza and was disappointed. The sauce had an unusual taste, and the crust was just average.
Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and informed about a short wait time. We were given menus to look over, and soon enough, seats became available right by where the pizza was being made, which was a nice touch. The pizza itself was fantastic! Our server was friendly, personable, and quick with service. My family thoroughly enjoyed the delicious pizza, the inviting atmosphere, and the overall experience while visiting this establishment. We had another wonderful visit to one of our favorite restaurants. We began our meal with the homemade meatballs, which are my partner’s absolute favorite and never disappoint. For our main course, we shared the cipolle e mushroom pizza, which was delicious. The pizza crust is definitely the best we've ever had. We're already looking forward to our next trip to Capp's and wish we had ordered more!
A wonderful reception even at 7 pm on a Sunday evening. Great choice, excellent pizza crust, delicious wines. Would recommend.
The best pizza. We travel 30 minutes for it and it? the only pizza we eat in the area! They use high-quality ingredients and have a really creative menu. The pizza makes you feel GOOD and not lethargic. The staff and owners are amazing; always over and above friendly and accommodating. We love it here! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
