The atmosphere at this restaurant is vibrant and perfect for a night out. We opted for takeout, which was a breeze—ordering from their website was simple, and I was pleased to find vegan options on the menu. The cauliflower bowl was fantastic! We also sampled a few sides and highly recommend the salsa verde. The only downside is that the portion sizes are quite small, so if you're like us and come with an appetite (we had just finished a workout), you'll definitely want to order more than one item!
Their family taco packs are a complete disappointment. I paid $15 for duck and only received a tablespoon of cilantro and onions, with the claim that this pack serves two people. What adult can truly feel satisfied with just two tiny tacos? And with no additional toppings? Just onions and cilantro? Don’t even get me started on the guacamole. They charge $10 for less than a cup, claiming it’s their "LARGE," but it’s really just taco shells served as “chips.” The guacamole lacks onions, cilantro, or tomatoes—it's nothing special! As a Latina, nothing frustrates me more than seeing people who know nothing about our culture profiting from it. Spending $40 on this meal is my biggest regret this month. Even the lime wedges they provided were a joke!
Bartaco offers a fantastic concept with ordering and paying directly through your phone. I appreciate that your tab stays open, allowing you to add items throughout your visit—perfect for keeping track of spending, especially for college students on a budget. The service and staff at Bartaco were excellent, and there’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The wait time was reasonable, and the food was tasty. While the street corn lacked the flavor I expected, the chicken rice bowl and taco were both delicious. I also enjoyed the fresh pineapple and a carafe of sweet tea. To finish off, I ordered churros to go, which were warm, fresh, and scrumptious. The menu at Bartaco offers a great variety to satisfy different tastes.
Wow, our first visit to Bartaco was on a Tuesday, and we’re now huge fans. We tried the Signature Lamb Kofta, which was a generous serving of beautifully seasoned, savory lamb. We also enjoyed a bowl of tuna and indulged in more tacos, including fried oyster and shrimp—the shrimp being the spiciest. The cocktails were excellent, ordering was simple, and the staff, especially Max, were fantastic.
This restaurant is amazing! The paloma cocktail was outstanding, and the outdoor patio combined with some of the best street tacos created a fantastic vibe. Be prepared to spend a little if you want to try a variety of dishes. The food arrived quickly and tasted very fresh. We didn’t try the rice bowls, but judging by the quality of the tacos, I’m sure they’d be just as delicious. Ian was a fantastic host and even gifted us a duck taco on the house. It was my first time tasting duck, and I absolutely loved it! I’ll definitely be returning.
