Our family found this place after reading TripAdvisor reviews and am so glad we did, for whenever we are in Chapala. Their buffet style dishes (traditional Mexican) are all delicious, so you just pick one or two or three main dishes and the side dishes...you want. My personal favorites are the chicken mole and salsa verde beef. They also have a modest salad and salsa bar, with the basics, and all for one very LOW price! At first, from the entrance, the place looks very tiny, but they also have a lovely second indoor dining room. The service has always been friendly and attentive, but never obtrusive. Very friendly owners and staff. They don't speak English, but it shouldn't be a problem. A little off the beaten track, but highly recommended.
It's a Mexican buffet, with the choices changing most days, but usually including a chicken, a pork and a beef dish, plus rice, tortillas, and a choice of two agua frescas, coffee, beer, etc. there if fish if you ask. The prices are very reasonable....It's one of my favorite places!
