We will definitely go back next time we pas... read more We stayed at La Cardusia for the first time earlier this month on our way to Spain and it was a wonderful discovery! We will definitely go back next time we pass through France. The room was very comfortable and the beds were so good that, along with the total peace and quiet, we overslept the next morning for the first time in ages. We had a great meal at the restaurant the night before and we were very happy with both the price there and of the room. But the best bit was meeting Frederic. We all know that the style, attitude and friendliness of the staff can make all the other things about your stay even better and that was absolutely true here. We have never had such a warm welcome at any hotel in France as we got here from Frederic. His English is superb to the point that he made us laugh with his sense of humour and his ability to communicate that to non French speakers. The following morning after getting good local advice from Frederic, we felt we were saying goodbye to a friend. This hotel is a brilliant example of the best of Logis hotels and we can’t wait to stay there again.

Friendly welcome, spacious, clean – in short, we felt very comfortable there. We ordered set menus, which were truly sublime in every way (quality of the food, presentation of the dishes, and very generous portions). An explosion of flavors with every bite. A wine and champagne list perfectly suited to the local terroir. Ample parking for easy access. A wonderful discovery right on our doorstep! We will definitely be back!
