RuRu’s was good, I had the Baja taco “I’ll Have What she’s Having.” and queso dip “I Am McLovin’ . I especially enjoyed the queso dip. We came with a party of 6. Servers didn’t know what they’re serving. They brought out food and expected us to know which is what and kept going back and forth with the food until they figured it out. Great portion sizes and good atmosphere! There is not a way to make reservations or save a table, but they can usually work something out pretty quick!

Chicken in the meal was cold. Cups was dirty and broken. The soda and water had some oily substance in it. Would not waste money here. After two bites of my burrito, I felt sick. I had raw veggies, barely tossed in the skillet. The server added gratuity herself for our party when on the menu it clearly states for parties 8 or more. Servers were in the back just talking at the table and sitting around. Careless service and a waste of time and money.
Ru Ru’s has a really nice outdoor patio which is probably the highlight of the restaurant. The margaritas are good, the food is ok.
Great variety of delicious tacos and cocktails. Guacamole was on the better side of standard. Great outdoor space with a chill atmosphere.
I don’t know what happened to the food here : this used to be my favorite place and it’s been a while since I’ve been able to eat at Rurus and I just got takeout last night. I don’t know what they changed on their menu but they need to change it back. I used to get the tacos there and it didn’t matter which one I ordered they were all so good and flavorful and unique. Whatever they gave me last night was the most UNflavorful ball of slop I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. it was so disappointing I almost drove it back. The beans had some weird aftertaste. I used to be obsessed with their Carnitas taco. This time the pork was so bland and the flavors of the sauce were underwhelming it was nothing like I remember. The other tacos that we got especially the Korean barbecue steak was basically like they just took some gross unseasoned steak and poured some Korean sauce from the grocery store over top of it and called it a day. Like who is in charge of marinating the meat?
