What D Cookie doesn't like about Intermezzo:
The service was great. The supreme pizza was just another pizza, the mushroom pizza was really really good. The cabbage rolls were a bit of a disappointment. Look at other reviews for pics. You get 2 tiny rolls and a thing of bread. The sauce is delicious! The sausage itself is stuffed with is ok, but this dish is now $25. I understand prices have gone up all around, but no. Parking: Gravel lot. Can get tight when full and lots of trucks can block getting in and out.
This place has been consistently great ever since we started going here. One of the rare restaurants that hasn't dropped its quality since 2020. In my opinion, they have the best pizza in the Charlotte area. Go-tos are the crostini and a variation if the Margherita or supreme pizza. Stuffed cabbage is great and so are their weekly/daily specials.
Extremely expensive for mediocre food. I am not one to leave negative reviews, have never left one in my life, but was just charged over $80 for a ginger ale, salad (no protein), small pizza and chicken pasta entree (which was a small portion). Was shocked at the $3.00 charge for extra salad dressing, that we had to ask twice for . Came out to being an 18.00 salad with romaine, red onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and bacon bits. If you’re looking to spend $100 on dinner for two with no alcohol, there are much better options in this area.
Just to say it is excellent, different dishes, very good service, I have already had the opportunity to repeat this place several times.
