We arrived the weekend of the Prix de L'Arc races. The ladies running the place were all smiles and very helpful, but literally running from the register to the tables to the kitchen. We arrived just before the tables filled up. The food was...ok. I would recommend that everyone in France cook sausage so that it is well done and NOT pink inside. Every time I go to chantilly, I have to eat the scones and camouflaged cream from the English shop. they are always delicious. I've been doing this for ten years! I also love her egg sandwich: . it is delicious:

I have to go there every time I go to chantilly. they make delicious eiersandwiches and the skorn are decadent. reminds me of england.
Wow! I'm very happy the English Shop is still thriving. I used to bake the cakes for the shop back around 1998 and it was a refreshing break in my day to pop in and have a cuppa. Helen is a very lovely lady and...will brighten up anyone's day. If you're away from home then you really must pop into this tea shop.
