The foie gras is a good surprise even if the bread that accompanied it is not well with. bad surprise, however, for the chocolate mousse indicated as "house and accompanied with a kernel tile" but which is reality a simple ramequin of bad industrial foam without tile to almonds. charging €7 such a dessert is a real scam!

We arrived at our hotel after an early flight from the UK, and asked for a recommendation for a relaxed lunch. Histoire 2 was the perfect suggestion. We shared... read more We arrived at our hotel after an early flight from the UK, and asked for a recommendation for a relaxed lunch. Histoire 2 was the perfect suggestion. We shared a smoked salmon starter, which I followed with an incredible ravioli dish, swimming in an amazing...cheese and cream sauce. The restaurant has a great wine list, and a couple of bottles of white later we were fully immersed in our French mini-break. The team in the restaurant were extremely friendly, and happy to answer any questions about the menu, and the atmosphere was vibrant and warm. The fact that the restaurant was bustling and busy on a Friday lunchtime is testament to the quality of the food and service on offer!
