I was in town for a business trip and stumbled at this place when I was looking for a place to eat. Carlos, the owner was great. He was as nice as possible. I was in town for a business trip and stumbled at this place when I was looking for a place to eat. Carlos, the owner was great. He was as nice as possible. I could say he was passionate about making great food. As far as food is concerned, I got lomo-saltado and roasted chicken. Both were amazing, as good as I was in New York or maybe even better. It was right and not salty. Both chicken and beef were tender and juicy. He gave 3 sauces to dip and they were great. My colleague who has never had Peruvian food has been blown away and he will go back since he's in the area.
Lomo salado superb!! It's from Filet-Mignon. The taste is absolutely delicious. Picarones Taste is authentic from Peru. Everything is inexpensive and you will be completely satisfied. By the way, the Talarinen were also very tasty.
Had the Pollo Saltado and it was DELICIOUS! Chicken had excellent texture and was very moist. Also had a taste of someone else Chaufa de Pollo and it was very different (a lot like a Chinese fried rice plate), but also great. Very recommended!
I love it so much here. I brought my family and they loved it too! This is a small family business with family recipes. I love all homemade sauces. The Peruvian chicken is to die. The service is friendly and above my expectations. I can't expect to come back and try more from their extensive menu.
My mom’s side of the family is from Peru. While the menu is limited, the food is AUTHENTIC and DELICIOUS. Tasty, family-run restaurant, great service.
