He will try to lure you into his restaurant, but not disappointed. We had the fried Calamari, mussels with garlic, lambskin and bread with olive oil. EVERYTHING was top notch with friendly and fast service. Then a surprise free dessert and shots at the end. You will not be disappointed!

I've yet to tr... read more First evening of my visit to Chania and much to the amusement of the staff, I went full Cretan with snails, Cretan salad and a bottle of retsina. I've yet to try the style of salad elsewhere yet but I found it absolutely delicious, and I enjoyed the snails. Servers were fun and attentive. Raki and a little sweet served at the end. I was hesitant about having my first regional meal at such a tourist hub, but I have no regrets. (Turns out that Retsina tastes like fermented earwax, but let's not blame these ones for that. Not a bad deal for €24, I thought.

The grilled octopus are very good and for sure I recomens the traditional Ταραµοσαλάτα (Taramosalata Fish roe salad). During the day there is not many people, but at evenings is full (like all restaurants in Greece)
