B... read more To start, the location is stunning and the restaurant is fantastic. If you want to hike/mountain bike and enjoy a fabulous dinner this place could be perfect. But after the location and dinner everything else falls apart. This was booked for my honeymoon and there was no acknowledgement or congratulations... fine. However, after our first night we could not sleep because there was partying on the deck. we were on the first floor right above the deck . Additionally, there is no air conditioning or windows, only the door to the deck which we had to keep closed to keep the noise and cigarette smoke out so our room was way too hot, and it didn't really keep the noise out. We asked the manager, Caroline, if we could to a higher floor to be further away from the noise and cigarettes but she said the hotel was fully booked a complete lie as we could see rooms available online . My wife got maybe 2 hours of sleep and was literally in tears from exhaustion the next day, and the manager had no sympathy. We also learned she had allowed the partying to go on late into the night, and she showed no remorse or did nothing to make up for ruining our night and then following day. The room itself is over stuffed with unnecessary furniture so there is no place to put things or walk around without hitting the annoying hanging lights. There is also one chair on the deck so if you want to enjoy the view with your partner one of you can sit on the floor ? . The worst part is how the trip ended. Breakfast is typically included if you pay cash. We paid for the hotel with points. We discovered at the end of the trip we owed $300 USD for 5 servings of breakfast. $50 a person for breakfast is outrageous... we would've eaten elsewhere if we had known! Overall, I will never recommend this hotel or go back unless its to eat at the restaurant... again can't emphasize enough how great the dinner was, and how great the service was at the restaurant.
