Contribute FeedbackVintage 95 offers a charming atmosphere complemented by live music, making it an appealing destination for dining. Guests appreciate the attentive service, though experiences can vary. While some have enjoyed flavorful dishes such as duck and burgers, others have found their meals lukewarm and lacking in seasoning. The extensive wine list can also pose a challenge for those without sommelier knowledge. Incidents, such as unexpected wildlife encounters, are managed with exceptional service, reinforcing the restaurant's commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, Vintage 95 maintains a reputation for good value and quality, encouraging return visits despite occasional hiccups.
The restaurant is very dimly lit, making it hard to read the menu. However, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. There was also live music, which added to the ambiance. The wine list may be confusing for those who are not wine experts. It's a good value for the quality of food. I recommend going after 8:30pm when the atmosphere becomes more lively.
I had made a reservation at this restaurant for dinner and was excited to try it out. I arrived on a Saturday night at 6:00 and was surprised to find that it wasn't very busy. I ordered the shrimp and grits and eagerly awaited my meal. I enjoyed the live music playing in the background and found the ambiance to be quite nice. When my food arrived, I noticed that it was only warm, which was a bit disappointing as I expected it to be hot if freshly prepared. Although the creamy grits lacked flavor, the well-cooked shrimp had a nice kick from the mole sauce. The portion size was just right, but overall, the food was average. I may consider giving this restaurant another try in the future, as I believe it may have just been an off night.
My wife and I had not visited Vintage 95 in a while due to our previous experience. The restaurant was just as charming as we remembered, but the service had been lacking during our last visit. I am pleased to report that on this occasion, both the server and service were back to the high level we had come to expect from Vintage 95. Our waiter was exceptional and had a great knowledge of wine. We enjoyed discussing different wines and wineries with him. Vintage 95 is once again on our list of top restaurants to visit.
Had a reservation for Sunday brunch with a friend who was coming from out of town. Arrived one hour after they were supposed to open to find the doors locked. After a minute or two someone came out to say they were going to be closed that day.
