They have upped their game at this Swiss lunch stop on the mountain. The food is great, the staff are universally friendly and Mrs R says they have the best loos in the Portes du Soleil (l’ Occitane hand cream! . What User doesn't like about Les Marmottes-cuisine Terroir En Altitude:
Not as good as on previous visits, this is a pretty piste-side stop that should be worthy of 5*s but the food choice this year was rather dull. What punters want is a great plat du jour that is not curry and rice: other restaurants seem able to do this. I hope Les Marmottes returns to old form soon View all feedback.
Way understaffed for the number of table and the wait is super long. 1.5 hours for lunch is not ok.
Endlich ein Restaurant auf den Pisten, wo die Speisekarte einfach Lust macht, wiederzukommen! Man fühlt sich wohl, das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam... kurz gesagt, ein zauberhaftes Trüffelfondue und ein perfektes Ei, das seinem Namen sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch gerecht wird! Wir freuen uns bereits auf unsere nächste Reservierung bei Ihnen.
Man isst gut, die Aussicht ist wunderschön und der Service sehr angenehm, kurz gesagt, das perfekte Rezept für eine gute Zeit! Bis bald.
Schlechte Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant an der Piste, das eigentlich sehr gut gelegen ist. Der Empfang ist charmant und lächelnd... danach wird es schlecht... 45 Minuten Wartezeit... um am Ende eine Pastaplatte zu bekommen, die einer Kantine würdig ist! Und da wir uns in der Schweiz befinden, ist die Rechnung sehr hoch!
Sie haben ihr Spiel an dieser Schweizer Bergmittagsstation verbessert. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, das Personal ist weltweit freundlich und Frau R sagt, sie hätten die besten Toiletten in Portes du Soleil mit L'Occitane Handcreme! Zum Mittagessen können Sie entweder auf der Terrasse oder drinnen sitzen. Es ist besser zu reservieren und ich würde die Croutes aux Champignons empfehlen. Unglaublich. Die Desserts sind ziemlich gut. Am besten ist, dass es sich nicht um eine touristische Falle handelt. Das Mittagessen kostet in der Regel CHF 25-30 inklusive Getränke.
