We stopped at the end of our little hikes through this restaurant. I ate a delicious penne gratin, with a mixture of cheese that made the dish a great surprise. also the quality of the specks used was perfect. as dessert, a delicious chocolate sun. this is a place to visit again. prices are the same as in the rest of the region.
My plans to run the circle of le tour des dents blanches were fed by too much snow on the col des ottans, so we had to rethink our route. that meant that we had to get our steps back and in the past. of la barme landed. what was originally a frustration became a joy when we discovered the zufluchts- and restaurant in the cantine des dents blanche. the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, a nice room was available and we could enjoy a tasty plate of local meat and cheese with chilled wine. christophe, the host and the chef, created an equally delicious meal of the mushroom risotto in the evening. classic rustic mountain farewell. the accommodation is traditional but very comfortable with a series of small twin rooms, such as those we had and also a dormitory in the dachfuß. all immaculately clean. I can't expect to come back here, it was a big scandal that weren't able to finish our original walk, but the bonus is that we can return to the cantine of the dents blanches.
We were there for a lunch... The atmospher is looking like a old chalet. So delicious kitchen with the friendly boss Jo in the kitchen. We were tasting gnocchi with vegetables and mushrooms... With delicious swiss wines. A nice place to discover
Miriam who runs the Taupin in winter is here with her partner in summer and the food and scenery were/ are excellent. Full of life and atmosphere, this is well worth a detour and should be tried.
