You Empire Hostel - Champasak

Great hostel, lovely staff and good location. A little bit over priced for what you get and in comparison to other hostels/guesthouses through out Laos. Wifi didn't work very well.

Could be an ok place if the staff cared about whether guests can relax and sleep at night. Our ‘garden view’ room’s windows were overlooking a night market where someone was playing extremely loud music from their car all night. Not the hostel’s fault obviously, but when we asked the staff to help and talk to the car’s owner, they didn’t seem to care much.

Great hostel. Stay in private rooms and dormitories. Good breakfast included in very reasonable prices. The staff was fantastic and extremely helpful and certainly contributes to the excellent atmosphere. It seemed to attract a very nice amount of guests and made the stay a really pleasant!

Very nice accommodation. All staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a guy who plays guitar and sometimes sings, he is a very experienced musician and it was relaxing just hanging out and listening. My room was spacious and very clean, the breakfast is really nice and they also offer drinks and coffee.

Best hostel in town, really good for backpackers. The rooms are clean and large. We shared the toilet, but there is plenty of space, also there are two separate for male and female. Breakfast is delicious, you have a wide choice of options to choose. They also support booking tours to the Plateau or 4000 islands.
