Xuan Mai - Champasak

Good food. Vegetarian option available. Service was fast and efficient. Overall cheap.

I ordered a beef crispy noodle but got seafood instead. The plate wasn't sent back because they were very busy and the wait time was a bit long. Food was good overall and prices wasn't high or low.

We went to Xuan Mai for our evening meal. The food was adequate and the place was busy. I think it's the type of restaurant which specialised in certain meals but not necessarily on others! Seeing Garlic bread on the menu made me encouraged however when I received the side, it was literally cold bread covered in sliced garlic.. No butter and very pungent taste. Having said that my main of noodles was well cooked and tasted great. Second best place in Paske after Daolin restaurant but not brilliant.

I was here before and it was quite OK so I tried again yesterday. When I arrived I immediately got the menu (so far so good). When I checked the menu I noticed that the prices where pretty high compared to similar restaurants in Pakse, so the price range indicated here is not right. After that I waited for 15 minutes and tried to get attention from the waitresses, but got totally ignored, even though it wasn't really crowded. So I left and had a great dinner at Dao Lin instead.

Honestly, I don’t wanna do this ! But people who are tourist should know about this restaurant!! We gave orders waited for an hour more!! After so long (more than 1 hr)only one dish have arrived!! That’s it. Prices are so higher than the good restaurants like sabaidee Paxay Restaurant!! Taste is not good at all! We have ordered fried dishes but they gave us steamed dishes ! Totally contrast from the menu! Please don’t order the dishes based on menu!! The way the have treated is very poor! We asked them to give our dishes after waited 1 hr nearly they were raised their voices, and it was not good in a manner ! I have seen so many people waited so long and they left, they are concentrated on receiving new people, but forgot to treat the people who were really inside and waited so long ! It’s not really good who wants to hangout there with family or kids!! The restaurant in a main tourist place, that’s their advantage, providing worst food and they doesn’t care about it ! Even I don’t like to give 1 star too ! Coz they don’t deserve that too ! Quality of food worst! After had their food, our kids started to get lose motion!! Worst experience, don’t have manners, highly priced , late service overall experience was worst ! Foreigners tourist, its up to you to be there after reading this !
