I ordered a cake last minute for my niece's out of town wedding. They took my order and catered it to my niece's preferences from me just describing the bride and groom over the phone. I arrived early at the cake studio, and she confirmed that I had promised to pick it up at 3 PM. I was told to come back later as the cake wasn’t completely finished yet, which was perfectly fine with me because I wanted it to be fresh! When we returned and brought the cake to the party, it was beyond spectacular! In fact, I didn't even have a chance to take a photo before everyone dove into it! The cake was incredibly moist, vibrantly colorful, and intricately detailed, complete with the Computer Science degree on top! I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out! I highly recommend The Atelier of the Cake Artist.

Last year, I ordered a baby pink birthday cake, and instead, I was given a white cake with just a hint of pink writing—no other colors or decorations at all. It felt like the bare minimum and not even close to what I wanted. This year, I was hesitant to order my birthday cake from them again because, although their cakes taste great, I'm never satisfied with the presentation since they don't decorate them as I've requested. I’m not the type to stifle artistic creativity by dictating exactly how a cake should look, but I would expect at least a minimum effort to meet my color preferences. The last time I ordered, I told the staff I wanted neon pink, fully aware of their past issues with color accuracy. Unfortunately, I ended up with the same disappointing baby pink again. I was still let down by the overall decorations, as the rest of the cake was plain white, save for a few sugar flowers. It’s puzzling for a business that calls itself "The Cake Artist" to rely so much on sugar flowers. The experience was frustrating enough that I didn’t even finish the last cake I bought. I looked for an email address on their website to share my feedback but could only find a phone number. As someone who has been a dedicated customer of The Cake Artist for many years, it pains me to say that I can no longer support this business, as they fail to meet even my basic requirements and don’t live up to the name "Cake Artist."
