Great lunch stop on our car tour. Very professional friendly service. The tables were in a lovely courtyard. We all enjoyed an excellent one course lunch. The food was top quality. We are glad that we called here. View all feedback.
It was terrible. Our mistake to go hungry to the closest restaurant that we could find in the rain. By all means if you all you want to eat is around 200 kcal then you probably get delicous food. However, we've been so hungry and the main portion was the size of half my fist even so that was a cheap option of 25 Euro. When offered bread buns out of a basket with around 40, I asked for 2 and got a funny look. Wine was delicious but served in around 50 mL portions. After the meal still hungry I was asking for more bread out of the basket where there were still around 30 buns left at 10 pm. But I've been told I couldn't have any because it's for the other guests (there were only 6 people in the room left who long ago finished their meal). I think they just wanted me to go for a dessert, but honeslty didn't fancy paying 15 Euro what would have been the size of a golf ball. I found the waiter very snobby, only what is of interest for the businees with no warm heart for hungry guests. By all means, a well cooked (of the few grams that you get) and prepared meal, but don't go if you are hungry after walking all day... 120 Euros gone and I was still hungry... Still having nightmares, never ever will go back again, just because they way I felt treated as being a strange customer

Lovely bar in the heart of the Argentière village__Ambiance mixed locals and touristA great selection of wine and beerA superb list of cocktails.
Arrived by chance at the lavencher, near chamonix, we discovered the restaurant the rosebud. a moment of grace, out of time, in a delicious place accompanied by a sinless meal, perfectly mastered.
The most- of the undeniable work on each plate- a nice presentation- a staff concerned with making pleasure- a very reasonable addition- of the good wine the less- retro- all I tasted was too fat: the butter hides the taste of goat cheese, the coconut milk masks the taste of rice, the flavor of the gambas is ousted by a envelope of fried doughnuts...- the bread is hard-! The lamb is not tender (“cautious meat”)- for a gourmet cuisine (but rich) a copyful quantity- no head (no sommelier) in the room- despite the interest of the chef (via the server) of the reasons for our disappointment, we did not see it. A shame.Ambiance- a beautiful garden in a hamlet- inside: old frame, "ha-been"- we'll pay at the crate on the ground floor! - we love the story of the name of the restaurant, chosen by the daughter of the first wife of the boss because...
